24 May 2024 — Tanzania’s firebrand opposition leader Tundu Lissu survived an assassination attempt ordered by the late President John Pombe Magufuli–yes, I don’t mince my words, Magufuli was very much responsible. If he wasn’t, why has there been no investigation regarding this incident?

Lissu sustained sixteen bullets on September 7, 2017; went through countless surgeries in Kenya and Belgium, and is now back on the road in Tanzania fighting for the liberation of his people.

His bullet-ridden car was released from the police station in Dodoma six days ago, and the Tanzanian people have decided that the vehicle should be committed to a museum, in commemoration of his relentless contribution and commitment to liberating the people from the clutches of an oppressive illegitimate government clinging to power by the barrel of the gun, and sham elections.

An international GoFundMe campaign has been launched to raise funds to buy Tundu Lissu a new bulletproof SUV so he can continue his commendable work sensitizing people nationwide, ahead of the forthcoming 2024–25 elections.

And so we’re asking everyone worldwide, from different nationalities, proponents of democratic values, to contribute to this noble cause.
