Weed smoking army officer at the center of gang rape allegations, video goes viral in Tanzania.

07 August 2024 — This piece of distressing news has been circulating for a couple of days, it has taken me a while to digest this so I can put it into context to deliver a clear message in my blog post.

And so the story goes, a female captain in the Tanzanian military ordered her subordinates, five young men, to rape and sodomize a nineteen-year-old girl who purportedly had an affair with her husband. The perpetrators recorded the incident on video and it went viral.

And so, let’s call it an act of revenge in a love triangle situation and infidelity. Now, what has the government got to say about it? What does President Samia Suluhu Hassan have to say about it? Well, not much. If anything, there’s a big cover-up going on.

WHY the cover-up?

There’s something you must understand. The government of Tanzania relies on the police and the army to stay in power (our votes don’t count), and they use abduction, rape, and a host of other atrocious acts to intimidate and control the public.

Every time we have our general elections, the Tanzania government will send the army to Zanzibar to rape, sodomize, and kill Zanzibaris, not to mention the ongoing abductions and killings that go on on the mainland year in and year out. All of which are well documented.

So it’s common practice, and the government has created a rogue state.

How do you reprimand an army officer over rape allegations when you’ve given them free rein to rape and murder civilians? I rest my case.
